About Highland Spark

Welcome to Highland Spark, a studio for learning jewelry arts, located in central New Jersey.

The techniques you will learn at our studio are skills used to make jewelry since ancient times. These techniques, called fabrication, are the art of creating jewelry at the bench using hand tools to manipulate and form the metal. The pieces are then connected with the help of a heat source which is a torch. At the studio we work primarily in silver, although the skills you will learn are applicable to all metals.

Classes are given once a week for six weeks. Each class is three hours long. Registration is for one full session at a time.
